In the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park, San Martino di Castrozza is one of the holiday resorts that have made the history of tourism. The area is that of Primiero, the vast valley that welcomes small, charming and characteristic villages, where downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking and skating are practiced.
The offer for ski lovers includes 60 km of downhill slopes, as well as 30 km of trails for cross-country skiing, in an evocative and unique environment. A short distance away is Passo Rolle, at 2000 meters, where you can ski for over five months a year. The ski area has modern and fast lifts and fun is guaranteed by the programmed snowmaking that covers 95% of the slopes, by the possibility of practicing night skiing and by two snow parks.
Plenty of space for children on the snow too, with equipped play areas and activities dedicated to them.
The Natural Park is a wonderful place to organize excursions with snowshoes and ski mountaineering. The adjacent Vanoi valley, characterized by ancient villages and calm forests, is the other unspoiled and silent territory to be discovered in winter.
