There are many tourist proposals in Val Rendena, with Pinzolo and Madonna di Campiglio a morphological wonder surrounded by the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, the largest protected area in Trentino. To the west the imposing granite groups of Adamello and Presanella, with the wild Val Genova and the spectacular Nardis waterfalls and to the east the wonderful Brenta Dolomites.
Main station of the area, Madonna di Campiglio has discovered its tourist attitude since the nineteenth century and today maintains its charm intact. In Pinzolo, a modern town of medieval origins with evidence of architecture and religious art such as the works of the Baschenis, the tourist accommodation of Val Rendena is concentrated, which presents, along the Sarca valley bottom and the cycle path, the surprising side valleys and the characteristic countries. The sports facilities are classy: soccer and playing fields, ice stadium, swimming pool and gyms.
Dolomiti di Brenta Bike offers selected itineraries for mountain biking, within the reach of amateur cyclists and families, but capable of satisfying even trained sportsmen. For those who prefer trekking, there are numerous possibilities to reach the refuges at high altitude, with routes up to 150 km, from the simplest to the via ferratas, on the most classic routes of Dolomite hiking. Golf is practiced at the Golf Clubs of Campo Carlo Magno and Rendena.
Winter
An avant-garde ski area theater of international competitions and events
Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo and Val Rendena are naturalistic and morphological treasures protected by the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park, the largest protected area in the region. The setting is as spectacular as the slopes traced on the sides of the mountains with a view of the Adamello and the Brenta Dolomites.
Madonna di Campiglio, an internationally renowned winter resort, the center of one of the most important and well-equipped Italian ski areas, maintains its historic charm intact. It offers over 60 km of slopes and state-of-the-art ski lifts that connect it with the equally vast area of Folgarida-Marilleva (Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta).
Another 26 km of slopes, on Dos del Sabion, can be accessed from Pinzolo. In both stations it is also possible to practice snow boarding, cross-country skiing, ski mountaineering, walking with snowshoes, skating.
The accommodation capacity is vast and diversified, the attention offered to children and the services for the well-being and safety of guests at the highest level. The other villages of the Rendena also complete the offer from the point of view of food and wine and the typical features of the local culture.
